Live audaciously – and fulfill your life purposes!

Posted on: July 2, 2012

Here in the U.S., we celebrate our freedom on July 4th – Independence Day!  Not Entitlement Day or Convalescence Day!  No, freedom to be independent to pursue our passions and purpose in life!  I consider freedom and my wellness to be two of the most important personal assets I have in my life.  Without them (which we simply do not appreciate enough) life does not have much opportunity or quality.

If you are free and have a sense of wellness, I would like to invite you to join me in audacious living to fulfill our life purposes.  I want to finish my blog by quoting from one of the most inspiring little books you can read.  If I could say it better I would but this is great.  I highly recommend “Rhinoceros Success” by Scott Alexander published by Lampo Press. Here’s an excerpt from chapter 4 titled “Be An Audacious Rhino”:

“You are audacious!  Your audacity makes you the charging rhinoceros that you are.  This is what separates you from the cows and sheep.  You are daring!  You are adventurous!  You are recklessly bold!  You are a charging, not-afraid-of anything rhinoceros.  You have guts!  You have nerve!  You have backbone!
Every day you wildly charge through the jungle having the time of your life.  You don’t ask for anyone’s permission.  You just plow through, knocking down anything that gets in your way.  The jungle floor vibrates and the trees shake as you boldly charge through.
GO FOR IT is your motto.  You shout it at the top of your rhino lungs every morning.  You are not afraid of falling because you know that nothing can hurt you with your two-inch thick skin.  The worst possible thing that can happen to you is that you will get killed, and death is a negligible incident in your life.  Everyone dies, even cows and sheep.  Why worry about that?  Your future accomplishments are what excite you.
Today you might be in the depths of depression, but tomorrow you could be at the heights of ecstasy.  You love adventure!  Jack London’s verse really captures your damn-the-torpedoes, rhino spirit:  I would rather be ashes than dust.  I would rather that my spark burn out in a brilliant blaze than be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a super meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
Choose to be audacious.  Have an audacious attack every day.  Success is audacious.  Be bold and go after it.  Develop your audacity skills.  Do things that take nerve.  Don’t be obnoxious or make a jackass out of yourself but do every daring thing necessary to reach your goals.  Every goal, every dream, every great project requires audacity.  Aggressive, audacious, charging rhinoceroses succeed.

I would like to add that you are free and independent to pursue your purpose in life!!  Charge!

I hope to see many of you at the Galaxy of Stars.  It is going to be the greatest yet as we are going to charge our lives with an audacious goal of getting one million people to take the Nopalea 60-day Wellness Challenge by  GOS 2013.  Supermodel Cheryl Tiegs will be there Saturday to share her vision and goals to lead the charge.  Quality of life is not an entitlement, but it is worthy of being pursued.  That is our charge… to live and help others live with physical, emotional, spiritual and financial wellness.

Great inspiration Michael! The book is a great quick read and a good reminder that every day is a choice. Looking forward to some Rhinoceros Floats at GOS, but more importantly looking forward to learning and connecting with the amazing leaders in TriVita! Blessings to you and Susan!

Curt & Shelly Bishop

Thanks Michael for being the leader that you are and always prepared to sound the charge. A great leader is always out front inspiring, motivating and encouraging others to follow him. You do this very well.

I am looking forward to another exhilerating Galaxy of Stars. I do not plan to miss one and when you see me coming, you better get out of my way becaue I will be charging ahead to better health, wellness and wealth so that I can live my life purposes.

Thank you for the reminder! “Rhinoceros Success” sits on my bookshelf. I’m going to read it again to get recharged. What a wonderful reminder to plow forward no matter what roadblocks are thrown in our way. I am truly grateful for the freedom to do what I want to with my life.

See you in 22 days. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us!

Michael, I loved your blog post about living audaciously!
I think I have been living that lifestyle without giving it a name. LOL

Riding motorcycles, playing in rock bands, serving 20 years in the military, and spending
8 years trying to find a company I could partner with for the rest of my life have been
a few of the things I have been doing that some would say are “out of the norm”.

Well, of course I found the company I will be with for the rest of my life, and I still
ride motorcycles and play in bands.

I would rather burn out than rust out. LOL

I am so looking forward to the most awesome GOS ever!!

We are FREE and independent to pursue our purpose in life!!

Thank you for always casting a vision in which we can all take hold
and run with.

Looking forward to Galaxy of Stars and spending time with such
great people who have passion to change so many lives in a very
positive way.

It feels great to live life each day so “wealthy in wellness” and grateful
for the partnership of TriVita and The Ellison Family.

Continuing to CHARGE!! The Gonda’s are charging with you… to live and help others live with physical, emotional, spiritual and financial wellness.

The things in life that are worth charging for seldom come easy.
That’s when we know we are pushing ourselves.
With persistence and trust and belief in a greater good…anything is possible.
We only pass this way once. Let us do it right and with “audacity”.

Thank you Michael for your charging spirit and positive attitude.

Hi Michael,

What a great time to be involved in TriVita with the 13 year anniversary, the upcoming GOS conference, being able to meet Cheryl Tiegs, and international expansion.

We are so looking forward to seeing you and everyone else in a few weeks at the conference!

This is a special time of the year with Canada Day for our friends up north, and Independence Day here in the states! We have so much to be thankful for.

Thanks again for all that you and everyone at TriVita is doing to insure all our our futures (from both the wellness side, and the life purposes side)!

Mike and Carisa Riedmiller

charge – Charge – CHARGE!!!!

We are charging ahead many of us with iPad in hand thanks to the March to a Million contest Phase 1. Thank you for leading the charge and for always keeping the mission of TriVita out in front of that charge.

We look forward to the Galaxy of Stars and for the power that will come from all of us as we charge out into the world from that event.

All the best,
Beth & Blaine

WOW!! Michael this is great stuff!!

Looking forward to this year’s GOS. It is going to be more than awesome!
Quality of life is not an entitlement as you say, but sure is worthy of being pursued.
There is no better feeling than to help others live their quadrant wellness.

Counting down the days and charging!

I love this! You know…The interesting thing about Rhino’s…they have very nearsighted vision, they charge at speeds faster than a horse for periods and once they start going it is nearly impossible to stop them. We could learn a thing or two.

1-pay more attention to whats directly in front of you than all the stuff around you
2-just because it doesnt look possible..doesn’t mean it’s impossible!
3-set your destination…and don’t stop

Infront of each of us is our sphere of influence…we all have one. Help them experience wellness.

You may not think your life, health or wellness allows you to impact people for this great wellness mission but that doesn’t make it true. You can do so much more then you think you can.

Destination…wellness to the world. We all have to do something while we’re here on this earth…might as well do something great.

Thanks to all the people that Run like Rhino. Thanks to you Mom and Dad Johnston. You are an awesome example of this. Can’t wait to see you in July. What a Celebration that will be.
